January 29, 2017 year - Fire broke out in Batumi in Queen Tamar's settlement. Houses were burnt and 12 families, in all 70 people were left in the streets. The reason is unknown. According to one of the versions damaged electricity cables caused fire.
January 30, 2017 year – Fire broke out at trade center "Bavshvta Samkaro" (Children's World) at 3.00a.m. Firemen spent 5 hours to extinguish the fire. The whole building was burnt. Tens of people, among them traders suffered losses. Nobody was injured.
February 22, 2017 year – The fire in Batumi had victims, some people were injured. 70 year old woman died in fire at night club "Arena". She worked in the club. 4 people were placed into intensive care department. The fire broke out at 1.00 a.m. Short circuit was said to be the reason.
July 3, 2017 year - Fire has broken out in the yard of the Saint George Church on Agladze Street in Tbilisi. 70sq.m were burnt and nobody was injured.
July 10, 2017 year – The fire broke out at Poti trading center at 06.50 a.m. The fire was spread over an area of 2000 square meters. About 70 shops were burned. The cause of the fire is unknown yet.
July 17, 2017 year - Fire has been localized at the so-called Dezertiri marketplace. 180 square meters territory has been burnt.
July 26, 2017 year - Fire has broken out in a forest near Tsaghveri. The fire has covered about 6,000 square meters.
July 27, 2017 year - The fire broke out in the warehouse of TV company Rustavi 2. The loss amounted GEL 300 thousand. According to preliminary data technique worth GEL 100 thousand were destroyed. About 40-45 square meters of area has been burnt.

August 4, 2017 year – Fire broke out is Batumi on Melikishvili street. 5 families are injured. Fire was extinguished and nobody was injured. Representatives of Batumi City Hall will rent houses for residents before studying losses.
