Women younger than 45 spend almost twice the amount of time a day on buying clothes than men of their age
But after turning 64 men start spending much more time on it, they spend as much time on buying clothes as they used to when they were 25-34

In the scope of the survey conducted in Georgia, information was collected about how much time people spend on buying clothes. 500 respondents participated in the survey.
As it turned out, people in Georgia spend on average 13 minutes a day on buying clothes: women spend 16 minutes and men spend 10 minutes.
Women, younger than 45, spend almost twice the amount of time on buying clothes than men: for them

it’s 19 minutes a day, on average. It’s interesting to view time spent on buying clothes by both men and women in context of age. Unlike women, for whom time spent on shopping decreases with age, for men it stays the same for almost their entire lifespan, while after they turn 64 the time increases and they start spending on average 3 minutes more on buying clothes than women.

It can be mentioned, that the person spends 5.3 days on avarage for buying clothes during a year. Also, women spend 7 days on avarage for this activity while men spend - 3.2 days.
As a result of comparison of these findings to the results of a similar survey conducted in 2006, it turned out that people spent relatively less time (4 days) in 2006 for this activity over a year. For women this time was – 4,6 days on avarage, while for men it was 3.4 days.
Nowadays, since reaching adulthood 64 year old person has spent 245 days on buying clothes.
This time is 40 days longer than the time spent on the same activity in 2006.
