Compared to the region countries and Russia, Georgians are the people
with most interest in other countries’ history, culture and nature

In the scope of the survey conducted in the region and Russia, information was collected about which countries’ history, culture and nature interest respondents the most. In each country 1200 respondents were surveyed.

It turned out that Georgians are interested in history, culture and nature of many countries, unlike other surveyed countries. In Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia, most of the respondents declare that they have no such interest in any of the countries, while in Georgia only 8% has the same answer. Most of the Georgian respondents are interested in France’s (30%) history, culture and nature, while 19% is interested in Germany, 16% is interested in Great Britain and 15% - in United States.

Among those Azerbaijani respondents, who do have interest in other countries’ history, culture and geography, most name Turkey as interesting country (18%). For Armenians Russia is the most interesting country (23%), while for Russians – it’s France (14%).

All in all, according to the survey results of all four countries, France was named by the most respondents as an interesting country from historical, cultural and geographical standpoints.
