Most of the respondents don't have relatives or close friends in any foreign country.
 
Those respondents who have named a country, where they have relatives/colleagues,
mentioned that this country is Russia.
 
Among surveyed countries Azerbaijani have
the most relatives/close friends/colleagues in Georgia
 
In the framework of research conducted in region and Russia, information was collected about the countries where respondents have relatives, close friends, colleagues they keep in regular touch with (personal, written, through telephone, etc.). In each country 1200 respondents participated in the study.
 
The survey revealed that most of Georgian, Azerbaijani and Russian respondents don't have a relative, close friend or a colleague abroad. This answer was registered by 33% of Georgians, 45% of Azerbaijani and 44% of Russians.
 
Large part of Georgian respondents - 31% - has relatives, close friends or colleagues in Russia, 12% has them in Turkey and 10% - in Germany (see Chart #1).

It turned out that most of the respondents from region (Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan) that do have relatives, close friends or colleagues in other countries, name Russia as their country of residence. This indicator is the highest in case of Armenia - 81%, in case of Azerbaijan it's 25%.
 
Unlike these results, only 1-1% of Russian respondents mentioned having relatives, close friends or colleagues in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

It's also interesting that out of surveyed countries, it's Azerbaijani who have most relatives/colleagues in Georgia (11%) (see Chart #2).
