People spend approximately 125 days a year sleeping.
 
In the framework of the survey conducted in Georgia, information about the sleeping regime of the respondents was collected. 500 respondents participated in the survey.
 
According to the survey results, 36,4% of the respondents sleeps during daytime. Men sleep more often during daytime (41,1%) than women (32,7%).
 
Almost 27% of respondents sleeps during daytime every day (see Chart #1).

It is interesting to compare the results of the survey conducted in 2006 with the current data.
 
According to the old survey, men slept about 2 days more a year than women. Today men sleep a day less a year than women (see Chart #2).
 
According to current data, a person spends about 125 days a year sleeping – 4 days more than in 2006. Starting from their adulthood, 64 year old person has spent approximately 16.1 years in sleep – 0.6 years more than in 2006 (see Chart #3). Sfta64yophsa16yis3 eng
