Since August 20 Georgian people have been fighting against fire in Borjomi. Despite that fire emerged in several other locations throughout the country, disaster in Borjomi is of the largest-scale fire and damage for Georgia as unique forest was destroyed.
 
As it used to happen earlier, when Georgian business got united to eliminate outcome of natural calamities, it happened this time again. Georgian media disseminates information about CSR of business to restore Borjomi forest.
 
Mamuka Khazaradze, president of TBC Group declared that company IDS Borjomi and TBC Group will restore 10 hectares of burnt forest. Temur Chkonia and Coca Cola Bottlers Georgia also joined the initiative.
 
Bank of Georgia will allocate GEL 1 million to restore damaged area and prevent fire throughout the country.
 
Hotel Crown Plaza Borjomi provided firemen and rescue teams in village Daba with food products and drinking water.
 
A Cake House located in Akhaltsikhe brought food products in Borjomi.
 
Pasha Bank actively continues restoration of the areas damaged by fire alongside with other companies. Within this campaign last December 2017 Georgian pine trees were planted and later additional 500 trees were planted within "Agadgine" project. Unfortunately, the majority of plants were destroyed by fire.
